Lab41 Data Deletion

Data Deletion Request

At Lab41, we respect your privacy and your right to decide how your personal data is used. This page explains how you can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you, in line with applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR and POPIA, where applicable).

If you’ve interacted with Lab41 as a client, lead, or website visitor and you’d like us to remove your personal data, you can submit a deletion request using the process below.

What We Can Delete

When you submit a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymise personal data that we hold about you in our systems, including (where applicable):

  • Contact details (such as your name, email address, phone number)
  • Marketing and lead-generation record
  • Service enquiry and support correspondence
  • Analytics and usage data that can reasonably be linked to you

Some data may need to be retained for legal, regulatory, or contractual reasons (for example, invoicing records required for tax purposes). Where this applies, we’ll keep only the minimum necessary information and only for as long as required.

How To Submit a Data Deletion Request

To request deletion of your personal data, please email: alex@lab41.co

Include the following information so we can locate your records:

  1. Your full name
  2. The email address(es) you used to contact us or sign up with
  3. Any additional details that may help us identify you (for example, the website or campaign you contacted us through)

Verifying Your Identity

To protect your data and prevent unauthorised deletion, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. This may include:

  • Replying from the same email address we have on file; or
  • Providing additional information that matches our records.

We will not ask for passwords or sensitive financial information as part of this process.

Exceptions & Legal Obligations

In some cases, we may not be able to delete all of your data immediately, for example where:

  • We are required by law or regulation to keep certain records
  • We need data to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  • Contractual obligations require us to retain certain information for a defined period

Where this applies, we’ll explain what we must keep and why, and we’ll ensure that your data is only used for those limited purposes.
